In 2016, Berndes Tradition, the cookware with the wooden handles, celebrated 40 years. In 2017, you can now have this same cookware with induction compatibility. It was revolutionary in the German kitchen: the introduction of the first non-stick frying pan made of cast aluminum. In 1976, Berndes – based in the Sauerland region of Germany – brought the original under the name Bonanza on the market. This pan is known as Tradition in the United States.
